Exciting local event to promote Tourism throughout East Kent for 2008. The following meeting and lunch is being hosted by the Kent Hotels and Restaurants Association to kick start several events which will provide a boost to Tourism in our region throughout 2008. It is also an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of their representatives to find out what is happening with Tourism promotion for the years ahead.
Thursday 1st November 2007 at Dover Town Hall.
At 11.00am - 12.50pm there will be presentations from
a.. Dover on 2008 Festival of Dover
b.. Folkestone 2008 Art Festival
c.. Thanet 2008 events
This will then be followed by a 3 course lunch served at 1pm the cost of which is £15.00
Spaces are limited to approximately 150 and we will be inviting representatives from Kent County Council, District Councils, Town Councils together with the Kent Tourism Alliance and all other tourism organisations within Kent. The meeting / lunch is of course open to all members of KHRA as well as any business in the wider tourism circle who wish to use this opportunity to mix with the grass roots of the industry. Those attending will have the opportunity to display their business cards and posters, leaflets on their goods, services and events on tables provided. There will also be the opportunity for networking.
